LUFKIN, Texas — Three men and a teenager accused of robbing a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint in Lufkin were arrested early Tuesday morning.
Floyd Hennington, 19, Deanthony Minor, 19, and Amare White, 20, and a 17-year-old boy, all of Lufkin, are charged with aggravated robbery in connection with an incident around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pinedale Manor Apartments in the 900 block of South Second Street.
Police said a Domino’s Pizza employee reported he was robbed at gunpoint while trying to deliver two pizzas and wings. The suspects also stole his wallet and they fled on foot.
Following an investigation, officers found a barricaded apartment where two suspects came out initially. Two other people later exited the apartment. All four were arrested and taken into custody, police said.
According to police, officers found Domino’s Pizza boxes, a pistol hidden in a laundry hamper and uneaten pizza slices in a bathroom toilet, which made it seem like they wanted to flush the evidence, in the apartment.
