GUN BARREL CITY, Texas — A wreck has left three people injured, two taken to a hospital and one airlifted for additional treatment in Gun Barrel City on Tuesday.
According to the press release, fire officials responded to a two-vehicle wreck that happened at 5 p.m. on Tuesday on Highway 175 at CR 2938.
A four-door passenger car and a pickup truck were involved in the wreck that led both vehicles to end up in the grass median from the force of impact.
The driver of the passenger car was removed using a Hurst Jaws of Life Rescue Tools to remove the trapped driver.
Two drivers were transported to local hospitals for treatment and one person was airlifted for their injuries.
