Kadarius Veasey, 18, and Jaedyn Johnson, 18, and the 17-year-old were booked into the Smith County Jail on multiple charges for their alleged involvement in an armed carjacking at the intersection of W. Queen St. and N. Ross Ave. in Tyler around 12:30 p.m., police said.

The victim told police he was approached by a man while sitting in his vehicle who then pointed a handgun at him, demanding his car. The victim complied and the suspect drove the Chevy Tahoe away, police said.

The car was later spotted at a business located on Hwy. 31 West near Patton Lane.  When the driver saw police, he fled the area and a pursuit began. The driver pulled over and stopped a short distance away, according to police.
