2 men accused of possessing meth, fentanyl after investigation into Rusk County burglary

The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is pursuing additional leads that came from the burglary investigation. More arrests are expected.

RUSK COUNTY, Texas — Two Henderson men were arrested Sunday after a follow-up investigation into a burglary in Rusk County led to the seizure of fentanyl and meth.

According to the Rusk County Sheriff's Office, during the burglary investigation, deputies found stolen property and suspected meth and fentanyl. 

Glenn Bishop, 60, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, while Patrick Garrett, 46., was charged with possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl) and theft. Bishop's bonds totaled $7,500 and Garrett's bonds totaled $46,500, the sheriff's office said.
