TYLER, Texas — Organizers are getting ready for next month's annual East Texas Auto & Cycle Show, an event that has drawn car enthusiasts by the thousands every year since the 1990s, particularly with the car raffle.
“The raffle car creates an opportunity for everyone in the community to support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault with a chance to get something in return,” said Jeremy Flowers, Director of Marketing and Public Relations for East Texas Crisis Center. “That something happens to be a 1965 Mustang.”
At just $10 a ticket, not only will participants get the chance of owning an iconic muscle car but they will also contribute directly to the support of essential services provided by the East Texas Crisis Center, as 100 percent of the donations will fund the nonprofit.
