TYLER (KYTX) - 14-year-old Logan Kerns went missing last Wednesday and the Smith County Sheriff's Office is investigating his disappearance as a runaway. His mother,
Julie Wood, said this afternoon that she hopes her son returns home soon.
"We've been searching high and low for him," Wood said.
Wood also said that she has received a tip that he was most recently spotted walking with two people along highway 80 and Eastman road in Longview.
"We are just asking the public to please keep your eyes open. They have a picture here that you can show. If you see him at all, just contact authorities. Keep an eye on him until they get there so we can bring him home safely," Wood said.
Anyone who spots Logan Kerns or knows of his whereabouts are urged to contact law enforcement.
