VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — A Florida 11-year-old is behind bars charged with a felony of making a written threat of a mass shooting.
According to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, Carlo Dorelli was taken into custody after making a list of names and targets at an area middle school.
The VCSO says they recovered multiple airsoft rifles, pistols and fake ammunition along with knives, swords and other weapons the child had been showing off to other students in a video.
"I can and will release the names and photos of juveniles who are committing these felonies, threatening our students, disrupting our schools and consuming law enforcement resources," Sheriff Mike Chitwood said.
