PAYNE SPRINGS, Texas — One person was seriously injured following a horrific crash in Henderson County.
According to Payne Springs Fire and Rescue, on Friday, around 8:15 p.m., crews were called to the scene of a wreck on CR 2830.
"One of our volunteers lives very close to this area and responded direct to find a single truck into a tree with heavy damage and the driver was out of the vehicle with significant injuries," PSFR said.
Officials say the driver of the truck was taken to a Tyler hospital due to the seriousness of their injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
