TYLER, Texas — Police officers are investigating after one man was injured in a drive-by shooting on Locust Street in Tyler Thursday afternoon.
Tyler Police Department Public Information Officer Andy Erbaugh said a man came to the hospital with one gunshot wound and officers were told he was shot in the 1000 block of East Locust Street in Tyler around 2 p.m.
Erbaugh said the man was injured in a drive-by shooting involving two people. The injured man was then driven to a Tyler hospital.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found multiple bullet casings in front of a house. Bullet holes were also found on the vehicle, Erbaugh said.
There are currently no other injuries. Police do not have suspect information at this time, he added.
