JACKSONVILLE, Texas — One person was injured in a shooting in Jacksonville on Tuesday.
According to the Jacksonville Police Department, around 7 a.m., officers were called to a shooting in the 700 block of Elm St.
When police arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The JPD says they have identified a suspect and are working to take them into custody.
