MARSHALL, Texas — One person was hospitalized following an early morning shooting in Marshall.
According to the Marshall Police Department, just before 1 a.m., Monday, officer were called to a shots fired call near College St. and Elm St. When police arrived on scene, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound to the thigh. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
"Our investigation into this serious incident is ongoing," the MPD said. "At this time, we are seeking two persons of interest related to this case. In order to maintain the integrity of our investigation, we are not releasing their names."
