LONGVIEW, Texas — The Longview Police Department is investigating an overnight shooting that left one man dead.
According to the LPD, around 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to a shooting on Finch Drive, about a mile northwest of Longview Regional Medical Center.
When officials arrived on scene, they discovered a man, later identified as Damian Devon Daniels, 26, of Gladewater, suffering from injuries.
Daniels was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
"This appears to be a domestic-related incident from the initial investigation.," police said in a statement.
