LONGVIEW, Texas — A man is dead following a shooting in Longview.
Longview police confirmed officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Ethel St. regarding a shooting around 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Officers located a man who had been shot. The victim later died at the hospital.
Investigators determined the shooting was a result of a fight between two family members which escalated into a shooting. The other family member remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
