CHAPEL HILL, Texas — A two-vehicle wreck resulted in the death of one person Friday, according to Smith County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Larry Christian.
Christian said the incident was reported at 4:18 p.m. on Hwy 64 near Chapel Hill High School. Emergency crews determined a the wreck resulted in the ejection of one driver and that one individual died. Their identity has not yet been released.
Texas DPS is currently investigating the incident.
As of 6:37, Hwy 64 is still partially shut down. CBS19 will update this article as more details are released.
