Officials identify man who drowned on Lake Palestine

According to Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse, officers were called to Lake Palestine, near Coffee City, around 8:10 p.m., on reports of a possible drowning.

COFFEE CITY, Texas — Officials have identified the man who drowned on Lake Palestine Tuesday night near Coffee City.

According to Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse, officers were called to Lake Palestine around 8:10 p.m. on reports of a possible drowning.

Henderson County Pct. 4  Justice of the Peace Milton Adams identified Harley Crouch as the man who passed away. Adams has ordered an autopsy and results are expected to be back in six to 10 weeks. 

Henderson County Game Wardens said they expect to have a water fatality report in the coming days.
