NACOGDOCHES, Texas — One person is dead and another was arrested following a shooting in Nacogdoches early Sunday morning.
Police responded to 108 E Seale St. in Nacogdoches at 4:22 a.m. to reports of a shooting outside of the apartment complex.
The victim was identified as Ladarius Hogan, 27, of Nacogdoches.
Police later identified the suspect as Daquarius Hunt, 19, of Nacogdoches who was taken into custody at the Nacogdoches County Jail and charged with murder, according to city officials.
At this time officials from the Nacogdoches Police Department, the Criminal Investigations Division, and the Street Crimes Unit are investigating the shooting.
