LONGVIEW, Texas — LeTourneau University canceled classes for the day at 3:11 p.m., while Longview ISD has started its evening bus routes, officials said.
LeTourneau is in the midst of finals week, and the university postponed Wednesday afternoon finals until Thursday, spokeswoman Janet Ragland said.
LISD spokeswoman Liz Ross said she doesn't know how delayed buses will be at this time. She also described Eastman Road as "torn up," with downed trees that have damaged fences along the route.
