MEXICO, Mo. — Emergency crews in Audrain County, Missouri, are working a natural gas pipeline rupture that occurred early Sunday morning.
According to the Audrain County Sheriff's Office, the pipeline exploded along Missouri Route 15, about a mile north of the city of Mexico (164 miles northeast of Kansas City).
Officials say, as of 6:50 a.m. CT, the situation was under control with no reports of deaths or serious injuries.
Missouri 15 will be closed until further notice.
