With the 100% chance of rain in our forecast today and another 1-3 inches of rainfall possible across East TX.
Several East roads are seeing some major flooding.
Smith County Engineer Frank Davis tells CBS 19 that county road 2180 and county road 113 are flooded. Warning signs are posted to make drivers aware of road condition that are under water. Also, Mud Creek between Whitehouse and Troup are seeing flooding as well.
According to CBS 19 Meteorologist Scott Fossey, this flash Flood Watch continues from Quitman east to Gilmer and south across most of East TX, including Tyler and Longview until 1 a.m. Tuesday.
