The Church on Fire is asking you to re-think the way you donate to homeless shelters.
As it turns out, socks are the most needed item at places like the Salvation Army. They're also the item that no one's donating.
Church on Fire is getting ready for "Sock Sunday," which is coming up Sunday, May 31. Pastor Donnell Walder is asking members--and anyone else who's willing--to donate new, clean socks.
"I thought over the years about all the things I've actually donated to a homeless shelter," Walder said. "And I know it's always been shirts and pants and I never really thought 'they need socks, too!'">
