TYLER (KYTX) - UPDATE: Tyler Police tell CBS 19 the driver of the black pickup, Reginald Patrick McDaniel, 46, of Tyler faces a DWI charge after crashing into the Braum's Ice Cream and Burger Shop on Troup Highway and Loop 323. Police report a blood alcohol level of .15 at the time of his arrest.
TYLER (KYTX) - Just before 12:30 Friday morning, a tow truck pulled a black pickup truck from inside the front entrance of Braum's Ice Cream and Burger Shop on Troup and Loop 323.
CBS 19 has not confirmed what happened to cause the truck to crash.
We did catch officers with the Tyler Police Department on scene handling the incident.
They could not release any details at this time.
It appears as if everyone involved walked away un-injured.
Braum's, however, is left with a mess to clean up.
