MARSHALL, Texas — The Harrison County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team executed a search warrant Thursday morning that led to one arrest and the seizure of drugs, guns and stolen property.
According to the HCSO, the SWAT team, along with a Marshall police SWAT team member, raided a home at 603 South Bishop Street in Marshall around 8:45 a.m. The raid was the result of a narcotics investigation by the sheriff's office.
During the raid, the sheriff's office says the SWAT team seized:
- Crack cocaine
- Ecstasy
- Prescription pills
- 4 handguns
- Stolen shotgun
- Stolen aluminum trailer
- Lawn mowers
- Weed eaters
- Chain saw
- $5,000 cash
The team arrested Gerald Deshale Maze Sr., 45, and charged him with possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a felon, abandoning or endangering a child and theft of property. Maze was booked into the Harrison County Jail.
The case remains under investigation.
