UPDATE: According to the Gregg County District Attorney's Office, Dominique Shaquille Harvey has been indicted in connection to the September 2017 death of 19-year-old Cameron Brooks.

Authorities announced an arrest in connection with the death of 19-year-old Cameron Brooks that happened early Thursday morning.
Brooks was found dead in the parking lot at the Highland Village apartments around 1 a.m. Thursday morning.
According to police, witnesses identified Dominique Shaquille Harvey, 22, as the suspect, and he was taken into custody Thursday afternoon.
Harvey was arrested on one count of murder and is in the Gregg County Jail. No bond has been set.
