POLICE: Gregg County drug bust leads to seizure of fentanyl, 2 arrested

Demichael Johnson, 33, and Shadiamond Chaseberry, 32, both of Longview, were arrested and booked into Gregg County Jail without incident.

LONGVIEW, Texas — Gregg County law enforcement executed a drug bust Thursday resulting in the seizure of fentanyl.

Longview Police said officers in the Gregg County Organized Drug Enforcement Unit, or CODE, served a search warrant in the 600 block of Travis Ave. alongside the Longview SWAT Team. During the search, officers found fentanyl pills, two guns, ecstasy, cocaine and marijuana.

Demichael Johnson, 33, and Shadiamond Chaseberry, 32, both of Longview, were arrested and booked into Gregg County Jail without incident.

Johnson is charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Chaseberry is charged with possession of marijuana.
