The Texas Department of Public Safety announced a large number of people arrested after a 10-day human trafficking investigation in Midland, including one of whom is a former Tyler Junior College football player.
Aron James Dobbins, 20, was charged with one count of prostitution solicitation of a minor under 18. He played at TJC during 2015 and 2016 seasons.
The investigation was an online undercover effort to identify and arrest sexual predators. It lasted 10 days and was led by DPS Special Agents.
The Midland Police Department, Midland County District Attorney's Office, Homeland Security Investigations and the Federal Bureau of Investigation also helped in the investigation.
