MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas — A Cass County man was arrested after allegedly robbing a convenience store.
Mount Pleasant Police said officers responded to a Cefco on 100 Alexander Rd. on Sunday around 2:50 a.m. Employees reported a man entered the store with a rag covering what appeared to be a weapon. He demanded money before running away from the scene.
Police were able to identify the suspect as Luther Williams Jr., 45. A warrant was issued for his arrest and he was taken into custody in Cass County on Wednesday.
