POLK COUNTY, Texas — A student is in custody after making terroristic threats at an East Texas high school.
Polk County Sheriff's Office said a sergeant conducting his daily patrol of Big Sandy High School in Polk County was notified by school staff of a terroristic threat made by a student. PCSO said they and school staff immediately launched an investigation into the incident.
The student responsible was identified and taken into custody by PCSO without incident, and is awaiting charges.
