KILGORE, Texas — The Kilgore Men and Women of Alliance are planning to kick off 2021 in a big way with two upcoming events in January.
KMWA has “always been all about unity in the community,” according to City Councilman and KMWA leader Victor Boyd. This year’s first KMWA event will be the group’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration.
This year, the MLK celebration is set to be held at the Texan Theater at 201 S. Kilgore St. It will be held Monday, Jan. 17, beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting until noon. Food vendors will be on-site and entertainment will be featured at the event.
