City offices will observe the following holiday schedule on Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Holiday Garbage Collection
The Tyler Solid Waste office and the Tyler Recycling Center will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 25. Due to the holiday, citizens whose garbage is normally collected on Thursday will have their garbage collected on Wednesday. Garbage will be collected on regularly scheduled days Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Wednesday, Nov. 24: Routes Normally Collected Thursday
Thursday, Nov. 25: No Collection
Friday, Nov. 26: Regular Collection
During the holiday week, priority will be given to household waste. Crews will collect as much curb trash and yard waste as time allows. Due to garbage being collected on Wednesday, Nov. 24 during the holiday week, subscription curbside recycling customers are asked to leave their recycling out until it is picked up. It may take until the end of the day on Friday, Nov. 26.

Tyler Pounds Regional Airport
Tyler Pounds Regional Airport will be open through the holiday but will close at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 25 due to reduced holiday flight schedules. The airport administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday Nov. 26. Customers should contact their airline or check the airport website at www.TylerAirport.com for special holiday travel schedules.

Tyler Public Library
The Tyler Public Library will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26. The Library will resume normal hours on Saturday, Nov. 27.
Tyler Transit Schedule
There will be no fixed-route or paratransit service on Thursday, Nov. 25 or Friday, Nov. 26. Service will resume on Saturday, Nov. 27.
Gallery Main Street
Gallery Main Street will be closed Thursday, Nov. 25 through Saturday, Nov. 27. The Gallery will resume normal hours on Monday, Nov. 29.
Tyler Parks and Recreation
The Tyler Parks and Recreation administrative offices and the Senior Citizens Center will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26; they will both resume normal hours on Monday, Nov. 29.
The Glass Recreation Center will be closed Monday, Nov. 22 through Wednesday, Nov. 24 for maintenance and will be closed for the holiday on Thursday, Nov. 25, Friday, Nov. 26 and Saturday, Nov. 27; and will resume normal hours on Monday, Nov. 29.
The Goodman Museum will be closed from Thursday, Nov. 25 through Monday, Nov. 29 and will resume normal hours on Tuesday, Nov. 30.
Tyler Water Utilities
The TWU Business Office will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26; and the Water Business Office drive through will be closing at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24. Anyone wishing to make a payment can place it in one of the two available drop boxes. There is one box located in front of the office at 511 Locust Street and a drive-up box in the Brookshire's parking lot on the corner of South Broadway Avenue and Rice Road. The payment will be credited on the next business day. Please do not drop cash into these boxes.
