(TYLER MORNING TELEGRAPH) - Four people were sentenced this afternoon in Judge Christi Kennedy's court for the June 2013 slaying of Joshua McGill at the Kensington Apartments located at 4400 Paluxy Drive.
According to reports, McGill was allegedly trying to sell marijuana at the time, but the people to whom he was selling decided to steal it from him, and the shooting ensued.
Ladarius Devonte Warren, 20, received a life sentence. Aaryan Ates, 24, was sentenced to 35 years. Earnest Jackson, 20, was sentenced to 30 years. Keyon Jamaal Forcel, 17, received a 20-year sentence.
