SMITH COUNTY, Texas — A 14-year-old boy has died after being struck by a boat while he was swimming at Lake Palestine Sunday evening.
According to the Smith County Sheriff's Office, the boat that struck the teen left the scene before law enforcement arrived.
The Smith County Game Wardens Office is leading the investigation.
