COMANCHE, Texas (AP) — One prison inmate and a prison guard remain hospitalized with injuries that are not life-threatening after a prison bus carrying more than two dozen inmates collided with a pickup truck in Central Texas.

The crash Friday killed the truck's driver. The two guards on the bus and 21 of the 31 inmates were taken to hospitals.

State prison system spokesman Jason Clark said Saturday that all have been released from hospitals except for one inmate and one guard. The other inmates and guard have been moved to the Hughes Unit of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in Gatesville.

Investigators say the crash happened near Gustine (GUHS'-teen), about 90 miles northwest of Waco, when the pickup driver ran a stop sign.
