East Texas Crisis Center raffles classic car to support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault

The winning ticket will be drawn on March 19th at the show. One official says, realistically, "your odds are really good."

With a $10 raffle ticket donation, "you're helping out women and children who have survived domestic violence or sexual assault," says Jeremy Flowers, East Texas Crisis Center Special Events Coordinator. According to Flowers, donations specifically go towards sheltering women and children, counseling services, advocacy, legal assistance, support groups, childcare, and children's programs.

"We strive to minimize the suffering of the women and children that come seek out our services and you can help us do that with a $10 donation to win this car," Flowers said.

The winning ticket will be drawn on March 19th at the show. Flowers says, realistically, "your odds are really good."

The Auto and Cycle Show will be held at Green Acres Baptist Church parking lot. This is different than previous years at the Harvey Convention Center, but due to the demolition, it is scheduled for one day rather than its usual three.

Last year's Auto and Cycle Show was canceled due to the pandemic, but it allowed them to expand their digital outreach by offering ticket sales via a QR code.
