TYLER, Texas — Lindale native Miranda Lambert took home another CMT Music Award Monday night to add to her collection of accolades.
Lambert won in the Best Female Video category for her music video of the song, "If I Was a Cowboy" at the 2022 CMT Music Awards. The song will be a part of Lambert's upcoming eighth solo and ninth overall album, "Palomino," which is set to be released April 29.
The awards were voted on by fans through the CMT website and are meant to highlight the best music videos and performances in country music across the United States.
Kacey Musgraves, a Golden native, was also nominated Monday night for her song "justified" in the CMT's Best Female Video category.
Musgraves introduced the mother-daughter duo The Judds on top of her nomination.
Lambert, who performed at the awards, has also received dozens of awards and nominations, including three Grammy wins and the 2022 Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year.
