DALLAS, Texas — The Lindale High School choir go the chance to perform in front of thousands of people and their hometown superstar.
At Miranda Lambert's concert on Saturday night the choir joined her on stage to help her perform during her 'Wildcard Tour" at the American Airline Center.
Students who sang with Lambert say they practiced for weeks before the big night. Halle Lambert has dreams of pursuing music after high school. She was thrilled she had a taste of it Saturday.
"To be honest, that was kind of surreal." Halle said. "Our choir isn't really big. Most people didn't even know we had a choir because sports and band are the most like the two biggest things in our school, which is great because they are awesome. So it's just a good way to have people realize that there's a choir." she added.
For the choir, it was an unforgettable night they will never forget.Their teacher, Mr. Baham says she hopes their performance with Lambert will help the students strive to follow their dreams.
"Look beyond you know, there's great things out in their lives in the future. And so we're just trying to instill in them a solid work ethic so they whatever challenge or opportunity comes across their path," Braham said. "They're well equipped to do with it and embrace it."
Miranda Lambert graduated from Lindale High School in 2001.
