CBS19 WEATHER: Cloudy with spotty rain today

Check out the latest forecast from the CBS19 Weather Experts.

TYLER, Texas — Good morning, East Texas!

A weak front will move across the region Tuesday. This will bring a chance for hit-n-miss showers and a few thunderstorms through the afternoon. Don't expect a big cool down behind the front. There won't be much change in terms of temperatures or humidity. We'll have to wait until Thursday for the bigger change to arrive.

Here's your forecast:

TODAY:

A weak front is working its way into East Texas. This front is arriving from the Pacific northwest so it's not bringing a big change when it comes to temperature and humidity. Still there could be a few showers or even a thunderstorm.  Otherwise, afternoon high temperature will reach the upper 70s and low 80s across the area.

TOMORROW:

We are staying mostly dry tomorrow, but it will feel sticky outside.  Due to the added humidity, we could squeeze out a rain drop or two.  Afternoon temperatures will rise to the mid 80s with lows holding steady in the upper 60s.  Don't put your umbrella away just yet, because more rain is on the way later in the week.
