TYLER TEXAS — The date has been set for the annual Texans Against Crime (T.A.C.) ™ block parties. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 starting from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. T.A.C. ™ celebrations is held throughout East Texas on the second Tuesday in October.

"Our first (T.A.C) kickoff event will take place on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at our Tyler Police Department Faulkner Park Station, located at 574 W. Cumberland Road. We are providing free Hot Dogs, Chips, Drinks, Cotton Candy, Pop Corn, Snow Cones and several family activities. This special event is open to the public, so we hope to see you there!"

Last year the City of Tyler had approximately over 100 block parties throughout the City to promote the program. It’s time to register your block party by calling the Tyler Police Department at 903-531-1096 or registering on-line at www.tylerpolice.com.
