MARSHALL — The Marshall Police Department asking for help in finding 26-year-old Marshall native, Oscar Lavelle Smith, Jr., who's suspected of an aggravated assault that happened at around 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon on the 1300 block of Alexander Street.
According to authorities, officers responded to the scene where they found a victim with serious injuries and they were taken to a local hospital.
Once they began an investigation, law enforcement officials found out that Smith allegedly hit the victim during a fight.
Smith is wanted by authorities on an outstanding warrant for Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury Family Violence.
